Continuing down the rabbit hole of “What’s the best dual digital delay?”, I find myself wanting a little more out of the Keeley Halo. This wanting makes me really look under the hood a little bit more at the Strymon DIG v2 to see if it can get where I want to be.
The Halo packs a punch with its ability to swap between 2 different delays (A & B) on the fly, multiple preset options, on board tap tempo and being able to infinitely feed the output onto itself. The Halo setting is nearly perfect! I just want a little bit more stereo spread, that’s it…ok and MIDI. but that’s it!
I’m not even entirely sure the Strymon DIG can do what the Halo does, but the only way to find out is to dial it up and see when we get there. So come on this little journey and let me know your favorite!
