Strymon DIG Pedal or Plugin? Can You Really Tell a Difference??

I was in the middle of my quest to find the best dual digital delay for myself and the Strymon DIG V2 is hot on the list of ones I had ready to try. Then as if it were serendipitous, Strymon releases the DIG plugin and I’m so stoked to check it out! When comparing the sounds and settings between the two, is there actually a noticeable difference? Can you hear anything? How does it feel? The price of the plugin is much more appealing but does it really work?
