I’ve been enamored with the Beetronics brand for a little while now. They graphics and design have ALWAYS caught my eye and impressed me, and despite not being the biggest fan of fuzz (which they excel at!), the Seabee and Wannabee have been on my short list! (You may have seen this video of the Wannabee. https://youtu.be/mIN2tDIYTO4 It’s awesome and I love it!)
The Seabee is Beetronic’s take on the classic chorus effect, and in true Beetronics fashion, does their own take on it. Chorus? Check. Vibrato? Check. And in lush stereo as well! But then they figured out how to do pitch shifting with this thing, and do it with selectable harmonics and pitch patterns that take it to percussion territory. Drum machine in a pinch? Sure why not!
The Seabee takes all the things you need and want in a chorus including midi/expression control, 16, yes SIXTEEN preset slots all accessible on the fly, dry/wet out as well as stereo out, and easy to use secondary controls! All of this pretty much available on the front of the pedal and easy to access!! No internal trims or DIPs! I love it!
Come spend some time as we go through the sounds and see what all we can coax from this incredible design of a pedal!
