Meris LVX Preset Pack 7: The Classics

March 31, 2026 | Alan

Some of the most iconic sounds in recorded music came from a handful of delay units that most of us will never own. The kind of gear that shaped entire genres, that still shows up on pro rigs decades after it was discontinued, that has a personality as much as a sound.

This video is a walkthrough of 12 presets built for the Meris LVX — each one informed by a classic delay. Not clones. Not copies. Interpretations. We wanted each one to sit with the character, the feel, the musical role of these units, and built something inside the LVX that tries to capture that spirit in a completely different architecture.

Some are close. Some went somewhere unexpected. That’s kind of the point.
