[Music] hey how's it going all right so we have in front of us the uh time Shadows uh V2 uh collaboration between Death By Audio and EarthQuaker devices and what you just heard was was craziness uh between well from the time Shadows but being controlled by the old blood noise it expression ramper uh V3 over here let's get that out of the way cuz we don't need that right now we'll unplug that no expression yet we'll come back to that so all right so with the new time Shadows we've got um three different modes uh the eqd mode the DBA mode and the sweet spot right in the middle I'm just going to spend some time and twiddle some knobs play a little bit and see what they sound like on all three settings um keep an eye on this toggle right here in the middle that will tell you uh which setting we are at left is EarthQuaker devices right is Death By Audio and that middle is um we'll call it a supernova something like that so controls here are time uh span and filter filter uh changes what it does based on the modes you also have a preset selector it has up to six presets and a a button here to go between red and green green being what you have live and then red being the presets so we're going to stick in live right now just start playing around uh let's start everything down low see what we got oh clean tone right here if we need it it's uh Fender Telly with a Seth lover hucker on the neck and uh into a uh Montreal assembly to positive overdrive uh I've also I might be pushing that in a little bit later with a Spaceman Mercury 4 uh straight at the time shadows and and filter up [Music] the death B audio [Music] side The Magic In The Middle [Music] so I think it's important to note here real quick that the uh eqd side and the DBA side are completely separate they are both um brainchildsmusic but let's let's hear it let's find out um okay let's uh go back to eqd move some knobs around let's do something right everything in the [Music] middle Death By Audio [Music] and right in the middle [Music] uh all right have time and span dimed and filter is off does do we get anything no we not in that setting I guess we just don't okay [Music] [Music] dbaa in the middle [Music] so that's just some craziness and I'm loving it I'm loving it already Okay so what I just did there for a few minutes was uh same settings uh same knob placements but for all three mode settings now let's switch back to the eqd mode I'll stop talking for a bit and I'll just start diing around those knobs and playing see what we can come up with uh so let's do that oh [Applause] it love it it's great okay so let's do this let's uh let's manipulate the time control so to do that we're going going to bring that down here bring that here set to a take them both up all the way
