We’ve been big fans of the Walrus Audio Mako series since they were first released several years back. We got some early insight into the new Mako II line and now that we have them in our hands we’re so excited to share the first sounds with you! Walrus has updated these in a big way and the OLED screen is such a welcome sight! (Yes we see the screen jitter. 100% promise you it’s due to the refresh rate of the lighting and FPS of the camera not jiving with the refresh rate of the pedal’s screen. You see no such thing in real life!)
With all the amp sims on the market the ACS1 still feels the most like playing on stage. In stereo it’s huge and really shines in this gritty clean amps in breakup like the Fender or Vox circuits we’re all familiar with.
