Can the Chroma Console Beat the Generation Loss…AND the MOOD…AT THE SAME TIME????
February 26, 2024, Pedals
As I started diving into the Hologram Electronics Chroma Console, I began to unlock so man...
Some of the most iconic sounds in recorded music came from a handful of reverb units that most of us will never own. The kind of gear that shaped entire genres, that still shows up on pro rigs decades after it was discontinued, that has a personality as much as a sound.
This video is a walkthrough of 12 presets built for the Meris MercuryX — each one informed by a classic Reverbs. Not clones. Not copies. Interpretations. We wanted each one to sit with the character, the feel, the musical role of these units, and built something inside the MercuryX that tries to capture that spirit in a completely different architecture.
Some are close. Some went somewhere unexpected. That’s kind of the point. How do you get this pack? It’s easy! If you’re not already, become a Patreon member. You can join us as an MercuryX collaborator and just get all our MercuryX presets…OR…you can become a CORE collaborator and get ALL our presets…for EVERYTHING! You can also purchase this pack individually or as part of our MercuryX or Meris ULTIMATE PACK, available here: https://www.patreon.com/thePedalCollaborative/shop. (and remember, ULTIMATE packs are perpetual, so every time we add more presets, you get the latest and greatest!)
