These are the MUST HAVE settings for the Drolo Strands!

The Drolo FX Strands is a delay/micro looper with two main operation modes, time stretch and tape looper, that come in 4 variations each. It can be used like a delay pedal, loop short audio bits, create evolving rhythmic or melodic patterns.

While this may not seem like a lot, or may not sound like a lot, there are a LOT of sounds packed inside this box. In this video, we go through some of the must have knob settings and actually play through each of the 8 modes in those settings. This is a great way to get an understanding of what the knobs and modes do, or at least get a better understanding of it.

And by the way, Drolo who? And why do some of these sounds sound so familiar? That’s because Strands, and David Rolo himself, is responsible for the microloop side on the Chase Bliss Mood! Yes you heard me right!

So which of these sounds is your favorite? How would you find yourself using this in a live or studio context?
